Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor greets customers, schedules appointments, reviews repairs with customers to ensure understanding, coordinates work with shop technicians, communicates any deviations from estimates, records approvals and costs, directs repair/service orders, arranges repairs under extended warranty programs, and coordinates towing or alternate transportation as needed. The role emphasizes communicating technical information to customers and the service team, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction, with a base hourly pay and potential uncapped bonuses. Strong communication, automotive knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Authorized to work in the USA
- ASE Service Advisor Certification is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience in automotive industry or 3 years in fast-paced environment with sales and customer satisfaction track record
- Ability to complete pre-employment screenings (background check and drug screening) if offered the position
