Job Summary
Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction, train technicians, and maintain ASE certifications. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes/hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments, air conditioning, and computer systems; explain diagnoses to non-mechanical customers; stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training; obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; supervision and mentorship of technicians. Requires valid drivers license and strong communication skills; prior automotive repair experience and ASE certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license
- Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- Reading, writing and math skills
- ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years (tests and registrations fees paid by company)
