Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, with leadership responsibilities to mentor a team and drive customer care and satisfaction. Duties include diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems; communicate technical diagnoses to non-technical individuals; stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training; train technicians; maintain ASE certifications within two years; require valid driver's license; strong communication and math skills; preferred ASE certifications and 3 years of experience. Provides a performance-based flat-rate pay structure and company-funded training and certifications, with opportunities for career development and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- valid automobile driver's license
- skill in brakes and hydraulics systems
- experience in automotive repair or vocational-technical training
- ASE certifications preferred
- A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 acceptable
- read/write/math skills
