Job Summary
Senior Technician responsible for diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, while applying leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward better customer care and satisfaction. Duties include diagnosing and repairing brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems; explaining diagnoses and repairs to customers; staying current with advancing automotive technology through paid formal training; training and assisting technicians in performing technical tasks; and pursuing ASE certifications as part of career development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times
- Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- A.S.E. certifications (A1–A8) within first two years of employment (L1 acceptable)
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- Reading, writing and math skills
