Job Summary
Automotive Senior Technician responsible for diagnosing drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. Role includes staying current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training, explaining technical diagnoses to non-mechanics, and training other technicians. Emphasis on performing repairs to specifications across brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition/electrical, suspension/alignments, and air conditioning/computer systems; obtaining or maintaining ASE certifications within two years; and leveraging a performance-based, flat-rate pay model. Required Qualifications
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times
- Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable)
- 3 years of automotive repair experience
