Job Summary
Senior Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations diagnosing and repairing braking/hydraulic, exhaust, primary/advanced fuel ignition and electrical systems; explaining technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals; staying current with automotive technology through paid formal training; assisting and training technicians; pursuing ASE certifications (A1-A8) within the first two years; must have a valid driver's license and strong communication skills to convey technical information to customers; 3 years of automotive repair experience and/or vocational training preferred; benefits include paid vacations/holidays, training and certification support, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 within first two years of employment (L1 certification acceptable)
