Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing drivability and electrical systems to spec, including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, suspension/alignments, and air conditioning. Will mentor and train technicians, explain diagnoses to non-mechanics, and stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training. Must obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8, with three in first two years; L1 acceptable). Requires a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills; reading/writing/math proficiency essential. Position offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model and company-funded ASE certification opportunities, and is based in Palm Valley, US.
Required Qualifications
- valid automobile driver's license
- demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
- current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- reading, writing and math skills
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years automotive repair experience
- ASE certification in A1-A8 (L1 acceptable) or completion of Vocational-Technical School Program
- third-party assessments/certifications
- A.S.E. certification in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years
- ability to obtain/maintain ASE certifications
