Job Summary

Senior Automotive Technician required to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead/mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake/hydraulic, exhaust, primary/advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension/alignments, air conditioning, and computer systems; clearly explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers; stay current with evolving automotive technology through formal paid training; assist and train technicians in performing technical activities; obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment. The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model and a pay range of $20.60–$35.52 per hour. Based in Nashville, Tennessee with Bridgestone Retail Operations locations nationwide.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid automobile driver’s license at all times
  • Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments
  • General automotive maintenance & tire repair
  • Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
  • Reading, writing and math skills
  • A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 (within first two years)
