Job Summary
Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems. Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training. Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities. Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonuses for tests passed). Pay range: $20.60-$37.92 per hour with flat-rate compensation. Minimum Qualifications require valid driver’s license, skills in brakes/hydraulics or steering & suspension/alignments, and applicable federal/state/local certifications. Preferred qualifications include 3 years of automotive repair experience and ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).
