Automotive Senior Detailer

Job Summary
Conduct advanced interior and exterior detailing, including wash, clay bar, buffing, polishing, and paint correction techniques. Safely move and stage vehicles across dealership environments while maintaining proper use of chemicals, tools, and equipment. Perform final quality control inspections to ensure vehicles meet client standards and execute daily production goals. Train and support junior detailers on processes, efficiency, and quality expectations. Communicate effectively with management regarding workflow, delays, or issues. Ensure all safety protocols and operational procedures are followed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
- Strong experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Comfortable with physical labor (standing, bending, lifting, moving vehicles)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
- High attention to detail and consistency in quality
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lead or senior detailing role
- Experience working in dealership or high-volume shop environments
- Knowledge of ceramic coatings or advanced protection systems
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or workflow coordination
- Experience training or mentoring new hires
