Job Summary
Lead daily automotive sales operations at Eatontown Ford, driving sales volume and profitability while delivering a transparent, customer-centric buying experience. Coach and develop a team of Customer Experience Managers, maintain CRM discipline, and execute dealership processes to hit volume, gross profit, and CSI targets. Stay current on Ford products, incentives, and market conditions; manage pricing and inventory strategy for used vehicles; perform trade evaluations and control reconditioning costs to maximize ROI. Maintain a hands-on leadership presence on the showroom floor, foster a high-energy, team-oriented environment, and drive the dealership’s Best Price Upfront model. Key skills include CRM (Elead), inventory tools (vAuto), DMS (CDK), prospecting, negotiation, coaching, and delivering a World Class Experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of automotive sales management experience; Ford or domestic brand experience preferred
- Strong track record of achieving sales volume targets, profitability goals, and maintaining high CSI
- Deep understanding of CRM-driven sales processes, including prospecting, activity management, and follow-up discipline
- Proficiency with tools such as Elead CRM, vAuto inventory management, and CDK DMS
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the showroom floor
- Strong communication, negotiation, and team-building skills
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
