Job Summary
Automotive Sales Consultant at Paul Clark Ford in Yulee, FL. Responsibilities include assisting customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle based on needs, lifestyle, and budget; building relationships in-person and via phone, text, email, and online; promptly following up on internet leads, showroom traffic, and previous customers; conducting vehicle walkarounds and product presentations; performing test drives and explaining vehicle features, technology, and benefits; presenting pricing, financing options, trade evaluations, and purchase paperwork professionally; maintaining accurate customer records and follow-up activity in CRM software; staying up to date on Ford products, incentives, programs, and market trends; working closely with management and the finance department to deliver an exceptional customer experience; prospecting for new business through referrals, social media, community involvement, and repeat business; maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, texting, and social media
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
