Job Summary
Automotive Sales Associate dedicated to guiding customers through vehicle purchases in AutoNation’s no-haggle environment. Responsibilities include responding to leads online, by phone, and in person; providing information; negotiating terms to meet customers’ budgets and lifestyles; facilitating a smooth transition from inquiry to in-store experience; and delivering exceptional customer service before and after purchase while driving loyalty and coordinating with the Service department. Emphasis on strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a focus on achieving sales targets within a nationwide, customer-centric dealership network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
- Prior sales experience, retail preferred
- Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
- The willingness to follow up with customers
- Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record
