Job Summary
Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner while providing expert product knowledge and demonstrations for both new and pre-owned vehicles. Understand customer needs to recommend suitable vehicles and financing options, then negotiate sales terms and complete agreements in compliance with company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive products, promotions, and pricing while collaborating with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless process. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses. This role involves working directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and enhance the sales process, supported by comprehensive training and a family-owned dealership culture with over 60 years of history.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a related customer service role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously
- Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to achieve sales goals
- Basic computer proficiency for managing sales documentation and customer records
- Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
- Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
- Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
