Job Summary
Automotive Sales Associate responsible for assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs; provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers; explain product performance, application and benefits, and describe all optional equipment; determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening; deliver vehicles to customers and ensure understanding of operating features, warranty, and paperwork; keep abreast of inventory and features; introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance; comply with background check and driving policy requirements; operate in a full-time, in-person role with incentive-based pay.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
