Job Summary
Assist customers entering the dealership by answering questions and helping them select a vehicle that fits their needs. Provide timely follow-up to maintain strong relationships and explain product performance, application, and benefits while describing optional equipment. Determine customer vehicle needs through active listening and ask targeted questions. Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty details, and paperwork. Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, and accessories to highlight relevant benefits. Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of available repairs and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
