Job Summary
Repair deep wheel damage, operate wheel repair machines, and apply paint and clear-coat finishes to wheels at Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers. Perform daily diagnostic imaging and wheel assessments while using state-of-the-art tools to ensure vehicles meet our "Mom" standard before sale. Work a 2nd shift in a fast-paced production environment, lifting up to 60 pounds independently and adhering to safety protocols including face shields and non-slip footwear. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to deliver great vehicles on time.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on our business needs
