Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in coaching, developing, and motivating the store team while acting as the manager on duty during the Store Manager's absence. Champion the 6-Step Sales Process to drive sales, trust, and customer satisfaction by actively engaging with customers, presenting solutions, and closing sales across all product lines. Oversee daily store functions including workflow, scheduling, inventory, and shop coordination while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures. Assist with P&L management by monitoring sales, labor, and expense performance, analyzing reports to identify improvement opportunities and execute strategies to exceed financial targets. Lead by example to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement consistent with Belle Tire's values. This role involves varying hours Monday through Saturday in a fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2--4 years of leadership experience in a retail or related customer-facing environment
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Financial literacy and comfort with operational reporting and performance metrics
- Proficiency in POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be available for varying work hours, Monday through Saturday
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing, exposure to moderate noise, temperature changes, and shop conditions
- Must be able to travel for meetings, training, or multi-store support
