Job Summary
Perform repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including basic suspension/steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis/repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance, and battery check/installation. Maintain general automotive skills and pursue additional technical development to support flexible work assignments. Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace, properly manage tools/equipment, and follow safety procedures. Organize tasks for high efficiency in all job functions, and accurately complete repairs per manufacturer procedures or industry practices. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and typically two years of automotive technician experience; ASE or dealer certifications in Suspension/Steering and Brakes are preferred and can be attained within 12 months of hire (paid by AAA). Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet physical requirements (lift up to 75lbs, stand for extended periods). Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to accurately repair vehicles using standard automotive procedures at a level normally acquired through the completion of two (2) years as an automotive technician
- ASE or car dealer certification preferred in at least two categories: Suspension & Steering, and Brakes, or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Authorized to work in the USA
