Job Summary
Perform diagnostics and repair work on suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, and heating/air conditioning. Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and develop additional technical abilities to enable flexibility in work assignments. Keep the work area clean and organized while properly maintaining tools and following safety procedures. This full-time role requires at least three years of automotive repair experience and ASE certifications in three categories. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 75 lbs. The position offers a flat rate of $26.98 to $37.90 per hour with a 20-hour minimum billable guarantee and productivity bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- proven ability to perform standard automotive repairs
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Background screening
- Drug screening
- Fitness for duty screening
Desired Qualifications
- ASE or Dealership certifications preferred in at least three categories: Suspension & Steering, Brakes and Heating & Air Conditioning
- ability to obtain ASE or Dealership certifications within 12 months
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team
