Job Summary
Lead daily operations of the Car Care Center Service Department, supervising Repair Technicians, Service Advisors, and sales associates while ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service. Mentor team members, assist with hiring and performance management, and organize work assignments to maximize shop efficiency and vehicle throughput. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications, maintain clear communication with customers regarding timelines and approvals, and assume store operations responsibility in the Manager's absence. Guarantee compliance with OSHA, M.A.P., and environmental regulations while managing inventory, scheduling, and estimate preparation. This role supports store sales growth and profitability within AAA Club Alliance's state-of-the-art facility in Annapolis, MD, offering a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment screenings, including background and drug screening
- Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule
- The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certification preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
