Automotive Reconditioner (Interior)

Responsible for overhaul, rebuild, and renovation of vehicle interiors. Repairs interior surfaces including seats, carpets, steering wheels, doors, headliners, and cargo areas. Operate spray-dying equipment, power tools, fillers, stitching, and sanding; mix dyes to specified color; fill, sand, mask, blend, stitch, and trim surfaces to match surroundings. Coordinate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall quality. Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time to minimize re-work and delays. Maintain safe, compliant work space and adhere to DriveTime standards; meet metric performance targets; learn and operate basic computer systems. Must be proficient in automotive repairs, able to troubleshoot basic automotive concerns, and communicate causes and recommended corrections. Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
