Automotive Project Engineer

Determine project scope and specifications by analyzing client input, cost, time, and sample requirements. Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures, convey costs, and negotiate completion dates. Address client concerns and resolve issues while providing technical assistance for product evaluation and follow-up services. Establish test programs by reviewing files, examining samples, and applying OEM requirements. Coordinate laboratory activities by preparing data sheets, scheduling technicians, and establishing completion dates. Communicate project status and results through frequent contact and reports. Assist in developing special test methods and equipment, and perform File Reviews as directed. Adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and all security practices.
