Job Summary
Oversees the management and daily operations of the Parts department, including purchasing, inventory control, pricing, merchandising, and advertising. Motivates and develops staff through coaching, mentoring, and training while ensuring stated goals are met and compliance with all applicable federal, state laws, and company policies. Guarantees customer satisfaction, manages required paperwork and documentation, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions. Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation, monitors inventory, and maintains the storage area in good condition. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some post-high school education or training
- Three years of progressive and relevant experience
- Experience in supervising and managing staff
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly professional and dependable

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, certification, etc.)
- At least three years of experience in automotive service and repair and with automotive parts/accessories
- Some supervisory or management experience
