Job Summary
Automotive Parts Interpreter responsible for providing technical support to trade and retail customers using automotive parts expertise, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to sales. Role emphasizes customer service, problem solving, and sharing knowledge in both technical and non-technical terms, within a busy phone-based customer contact environment. Requires prior automotive parts or mechanical experience, strong communication skills, proactive teamwork, and a valid driver’s licence (manual preferred). Monday–Friday, 8am–5:30pm; opportunity for training and development and staff discounts within a large, global automotive aftermarket company.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate prior automotive parts or mechanical experience
- Be a passionate customer service expert with some sales experience
- Be comfortable sharing knowledge and communicate in a technical and non-technical manner
- Be a natural problem solver who is solutions focussed with sound computer skills
- Be a proactive and driven team player, who can also work independently
- Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)
