Job Summary
Automotive Parts Counterperson — sells parts to customers over the counter, shop, or phone. Assists customers in selecting required parts, informs about companion part requirements and specials, answers phone for price quotes and information, reviews body shop estimates for correct parts and pricing, pulls and fills stock orders, notifies when parts are out of stock or on back-order, handles delivery/pick-up scheduling, maintains inventory and records, processes invoices and returns, and participates in training and continuous product updates. Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work in a retail counter and warehouse environment; valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
