Job Summary
Automotive Parts Counterperson needed to assist walk-in customers and support shop and phone/online sales by selecting and suggesting parts, pulling stock, processing backorders, providing price quotes, and coordinating daily shipments or pickups. Responsibilities include helping customers choose required parts, maintaining clean and organized parts bins, assisting service technicians and outside sales reps, handling Will Call and backorder items, and keeping the parts department up-to-date with new products. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of automotive OEM parts, familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds and CCC1 preferred, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, Saturday availability, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check. The role emphasizes friendly, professional customer service and opportunities for internal advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledgeable about automotive OEM parts
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds and CCC1 preferred
- Experience working in the body shop a plus
- Ability to lift 50 - 70lbs
- Availability to work on Saturdays
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
