Job Summary
Automotive Parts Counterperson needed at DARCARS Jacksonville. You will assist walk-in customers with selecting required automotive OEM parts, suggest companions, provide price quotes, and handle in-store, phone, and online orders. Responsibilities include pulling parts from stock, checking availability, submitting emergent orders, assisting outside sales reps, setting up daily shipments or pickups, maintaining accurate WILL CALL/BACKORDER records, multitasking across online programs, aiding service technicians in selecting parts, and keeping display areas neat and organized. Requires strong communication, basic knowledge of automotive parts, familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, Saturday availability, and a valid driver license. Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Strong communication skills to explain parts information to customers and associates
- Knowledgeable about automotive OEM parts
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred
- Experience working in the body shop a plus
- Ability to lift 50 - 70lbs
- Availability to work on Saturdays
- Must be a minimal of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
