Job Summary
Assist customers in locating and purchasing automotive parts by providing product information, suggesting related items, and processing sales transactions. Manage inventory by restocking shelves, verifying will-call orders, and assisting with new part orders. Handle returns, issue credits, and maintain organized records of repair orders and invoices. Provide technical support by answering questions about parts functions and companion requirements to increase sales. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and using inventory management software. This role supports Haley Auto's retail and wholesale operations, requiring a professional attitude and ability to lift 25+ lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with and a strong knowledge of automotive parts for different makes and models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with technology, such as computer systems, cash registers, and inventory management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Professional dress, speech and customer-focused attitude
- Able to lift and carry 25+ lbs
