Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Automotive Parts Counter Person to assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries. Responsibilities include accurately identifying and recommending automotive parts, processing orders, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with service departments for timely parts requests. Successful candidates will have experience in automotive roles, strong customer service skills, proficiency in parts lookup tools, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive parts counterperson or in a similar automotive role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using parts lookup tools, computer systems, and related technology (e.g., Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar systems).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is highly desirable.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
