Automotive Parts Counter Associate

Automotive Parts Counter Associate greets customers, determines their needs, and provides excellent customer service. Responsibilities include handling parts inquiries, processing payments, distributing parts to service technicians, accepting warranty parts and cores, returning warranty parts to factory, writing purchase orders for parts and sublet work, using the computer system to post sales and track lost sales, maintaining inventory and bin organization, ensuring department security, and communicating with the Parts Manager for special orders and lost sales. Requires lifting up to 100 pounds, training/certification upkeep, and a valid driver’s license. Emphasis on customer service, parts knowledge, and accurate paperwork within a fast-paced parts department of a large automotive group.
