Job Summary
Assist retail and wholesale customers in identifying and purchasing automotive parts, while supporting Service Technicians by sourcing components for vehicle repairs. Use electronic catalogs and dealership systems to research parts, pricing, and availability; provide accurate estimates, delivery timelines, and order-status updates. Pull and verify parts from inventory, place special orders for out-of-stock items, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup. Process transactions accurately, maintain documentation on open orders, and build relationships with customers, technicians, and vendors. Stay current on product updates and dealership procedures to ensure an organized, efficient parts department.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous automotive parts counter experience
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts experience, preferably in a dealership environment
- Working knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and repair terminology
- Experience using electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems
- Strong customer service and consultative sales skills
