Job Summary
Greet customers, determine their needs, and provide excellent customer service while handling all parts telephone inquiries and establishing payment methods. Manage parts distribution to service technicians, process pertinent documents, and ensure department security for all parts and paperwork. Actively identify related parts needed on repair jobs, advise customers of stocking status, and maintain correct inventory locations and bins. Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work requiring management approval, use the computer system to post sales and track lost sales, and run bin spot checks. Responsible for receiving money, cashing out customers, pulling and stocking parts inventory, and keeping the work area clean. Report any issues to the department manager and maintain up-to-date training and certification.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of parts experience
- 2+ years of CDK
- Ability to Lift 100 pounds
- Automotive knowledge
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- A valid driver's license
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations
