Job Summary
Parts Advisor/Counterperson responsible for assisting retail and wholesale customers in identifying and purchasing automotive parts, working with service technicians to fulfill repair orders, looking up and tracking parts using dealership systems, maintaining inventory, processing returns and warranties, and upselling related parts and accessories. Emphasis on customer service, accurate sourcing of parts, collaboration with technicians, and providing pricing and availability information; opportunities for career advancement within Chariot Automotive Group.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience required (dealership experience a plus)
- Knowledge of Mopar and GM parts preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts catalog systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
