Job Summary
Prepare work by studying work orders, bills of materials, and blueprints. Operate paint spray equipment to apply paint coats according to company specifications while adjusting flow and coating thickness. Match colors and inspect finished bodies and parts for quality. Dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with federal and state laws. Maintain a clean work area, wear required PPE including respirators, and complete production forms. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and working in areas without air conditioning. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and experience with automotive paint and pressure feed spray equipment are required. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
- Must have experience in automotive paint and prep work.
- Must have experience using pressure feed spray equipment.
- Attention to detail is a must!
- Must have basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to successfully complete respirator medical evaluation.
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications
- Some technical training helpful.
