Job Summary
As an Automotive Paint Prepper, you will support Paint Technicians by washing vehicles, removing imperfections, tape cars for painting, and ensuring surfaces are properly prepped. Responsibilities include thorough inspection and cleaning of surfaces, sanding and smoothing for paint adhesion, applying primer, and maintaining painting equipment while following safety protocols. Candidates should possess strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and knowledge of automotive repair principles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical stamina to frequently kneel, bend and squat, as well as lift up to 45 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in wheel refurbishing or automotive repair
- Previous experience in paint preparation
- Knowledge of painting and surface preparation techniques
