Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Detail, Paint, Body, and Assembly departments while preparing accurate quotes for cosmetic work. Mentor technicians through coaching and training, then recruit, hire, and motivate qualified team members. Ensure quality control and timely completion of all jobs by performing checks on finished work and maintaining safety standards. Assist with payroll, invoicing, and final billing, including insurance supplements, while maintaining vendor and insurance relationships to maximize profitability. Monitor gross profit opportunities and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a Body Shop, Detail Shop, or Automotive Dealership
- Proven ability to quote and manage repair work
- Strong knowledge of paint, body, detailing, and assembly processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Clean background check
