Job Summary
Assess dealership service operations to identify efficiency improvements and coach staff on customer service and sales techniques. Partner with leadership to develop and implement improvement plans while monitoring progress against performance goals. Document observations and recommendations following visits, then track key metrics to measure success and drive operational effectiveness. Build strong relationships with dealership personnel to influence positive change and promote best practices that enhance satisfaction and business results. This role requires travel up to 80% and offers a salary range of $70k to $80k plus bonus and monthly vehicle allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in automotive dealership operations, fixed operations, or aftersales/service environments
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze performance data and develop actionable improvement plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience implementing customer service and sales best practices
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC applications
- Ability to travel regularly to dealership locations
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of dealership fixed operations, service departments, and business performance metrics
- Experience influencing teams and gaining buy-in for process improvements
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions
- Experience training and coaching service advisors, technicians, and dealership staff
