Automotive Mobile Express Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and light repairs at customer locations, dealership sites, and approved service spots. Conduct oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections. Replace air filters, wiper blades, and batteries while identifying potential maintenance needs. Complete work per Ford manufacturer procedures and document all services accurately. Manage daily appointments and routes efficiently, communicating delays or issues to management promptly. Maintain the mobile service vehicle, tools, and a clean work area while following all safety procedures. Represent Homer Skelton Ford professionally when interacting with customers and protecting their vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Comfortable driving a company mobile service vehicle
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when necessary
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stand, and perform physical automotive service duties
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive service experience preferred
- Experience performing routine maintenance is strongly preferred
- Automotive technical school or related training is a plus
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance
