Job Summary
Conduct all-purpose duties as a Mobile Diagnostic Technician, applying technical knowledge to assist customers and answer inbound and outbound phone calls regarding Autel scanning unit procedures. Research, explain, and resolve technology issues on vehicles using advanced computerized diagnostic equipment and factory programming software. Perform hands-on mechanical repair, replacement of suspension and drive modules, and soft touch repair of interior trim components. Requires 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician with I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred. Must be able to lift objects over 50 lbs, perform physical activity including kneeling and squatting, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician
- Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks
- Minimum age requirement of 21+ years
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
