Automotive Mobile Diagnostic Technician

Job Summary
Conduct all-purpose diagnostic duties for customers using the Autel scanning unit, including answering inbound and outbound phone calls, answering technical questions regarding scanning procedures, and researching to explain and resolve technology issues on vehicles. Apply technical knowledge to assist customers while working in a fast-paced environment that requires consistent physical activity, reaching above and below shoulder levels, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. Read and understand written estimates, work orders, and instructions, providing personable customer service to internal and external clients. Requires 2+ years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician with I-CAR and ASE certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician
- Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks
- Minimum age requirement of 21+ years
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
