Job Summary
Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing all estimates for repair. Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, wiring repairs, and service vehicle maintenance. Keep inventory of stock, verify order receipts, and write service invoices. Collect signatures or payments and deliver completed invoices to the office. Maintain shop equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance. Collaborate with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule and complete jobs. This role requires 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience and a high school degree or GED. Full-time Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent
- 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of OE scan tools
- Ability to learn new tools as needed
- Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
- Ability to service A/C systems
- Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
- Basic computer knowledge including using email, spreadsheet and messaging systems
- Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and the like
