Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on prototype vehicles based on repair orders and leader instructions. Perform maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting while replacing necessary parts and components. Read service procedures to ensure accuracy, document all activities in vehicle records, and maintain shop equipment through preventive maintenance. Assist in keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe. Full-time permanent positions available Monday to Friday with weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic
- Certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field
- ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) Certification(s)
- State Mechanic Certification(s)
- Valid driver's license
- Weekends as needed
