Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs and services at Mavis' Hyattsville center, including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and tire mounting/balancing. Responsibilities include completing state-mandated inspections and handling tools and equipment; candidates should have 2 years of automotive repair experience and a toolbox of personal tools. Preferred ASE certifications and state inspection licenses.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent
- extensive toolbox of personal tools
- state inspection license(s) (preferred)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) (preferred)
