Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics needed to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services at Mavis Tire in the Mount Pleasant, MI area. Responsibilities include undercar repairs (brakes, struts and shocks), completing state inspections, oil and filter changes, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and tire dismounting/mounting/balancing. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and utilize a personal tool collection. Requires 2 years of experience or training (or equivalent) and the ability to perform duties with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service. Preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5). Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education/training/experience
- possess extensive personal tools used in undercar repairs
