Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics needed for full-time positions at Mavis/Tire & Brake centers in the Lanham/Greenbelt area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services including undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), state inspections, oil/filters, fluid checks, part replacements, tire mounting/balancing, and related duties. Active position with opportunities for on-the-job training, competitive weekly pay with incentives, and benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off/holidays, life insurance). Requires physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 50+ pounds, and valid work authorization in the U.S.; preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5). Required Qualifications
- (1) be at least 18 years of age
- (2) legally authorized to work in the United States
- (3) possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- (4) possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
