Job Summary
As Mavis's Automotive Mechanics, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services at our Fairfax, VA center. You’ll handle undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, and perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and tire services (dismounting, mounting, rotating, balancing). The role emphasizes thorough vehicle maintenance and customer-focused service, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth. Comfortable, hands-on work environment expected, with the ability to lift items over 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions. Strong tooling and hands-on experience in automotive repair are essential; ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspections licenses are preferred. Equal opportunity employer. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
