Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks; inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Responsibilities include completing state-mmandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires. This is a full-time position at Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Luling, LA, with the company offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
