Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics wanted for full-time roles at Mavis Tire & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Glen Head/Huntington, NY area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of automotive services on customers' vehicles, with emphasis on undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), completing state inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, replacing parts, and tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, and rotation. Requires 2 years of experience or training and a toolbox of personal tools; state inspection licenses and ASE certifications are preferred. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and repeatedly move items weighing over 50 pounds.
