Job Summary
Automotive Mechanic responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of undercar repairs (brakes, struts and shocks), oil changes, fluid checks, inspections, tire mounting/balancing, and related tasks. Requires lifting items weighing over 50 pounds and standing/walking repeatedly. Preferred ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection license; emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality service in a high-volume shop environment. Exceptional tool set and hands-on repair skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of automotive repair and/or training or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
- Possess an extensive personal toolbox used in performing undercar repairs
